Christmas in the Garden: Taking Time to Enjoy What We Create

As the year winds down and summer arrives, gardens across Northland become the heart of Christmas celebrations — spaces for barbecues, backyard games, and long evenings spent with family and friends. At Kererū Development, we’re reminded at this time of year why we love working in landscaping and gardens throughout Kerikeri and the wider Bay of Islands.

Christmas is also a time to slow down. Our work is all about creating outdoor spaces that are meant to be enjoyed, and we believe it’s just as important that our own team gets the chance to do the same.

That’s why Kererū Development and Kererū Landscapes will be closed from 19 December to 5 January. During this time, our staff will be spending quality time with their families — and, of course, enjoying a bit of time in their own gardens too.

We’ll be back in the new year refreshed and ready to help bring new landscaping projects to life, whether it’s lawn preparation, garden upgrades, or larger outdoor transformations.
