Supporting Iron Mahue in Mahinepua, Kaeo

Last week, we were proud to sponsor the Iron Mahue event held in beautiful Mahinepua, Kaeo. Events like this showcase not only the incredible natural environment we’re lucky to live and work in, but also the strength and spirit of our local community.

At Kererū Development, we believe supporting community initiatives is just as important as the landscaping and building work we do across Kerikeri and the wider Bay of Islands. Local events bring people together, encourage healthy lifestyles, and create opportunities for families and friends to connect.

Our involvement didn’t stop at sponsorship. As a family-run business, we also physically supported the event — spending time out on kayaks in the water during the swim leg to help ensure participant safety. It was a fantastic way to be part of the action and contribute behind the scenes.

Being involved in events like Iron Mahue reflects what matters most to us: strong communities, active lifestyles, and supporting the places where we live and work.
